About

Arshlaan Alam

I build software that runs unattended and has to be honest about its own state.

I am a developer based in Hyderabad. I build security training labs at CyberParadigm, and on my own time I work on full-stack platforms, automation tools, and computer-vision interfaces. Most of my projects start the same way: something is tedious or unclear, and I want a tool that fixes it.

Outside work I build my own projects. CareLoop sends medication reminders over WhatsApp and records what actually happened. TransitOps is a fleet operations platform on Next.js and PostgreSQL. ContextAI runs chat summarization on Ollama hosts you control instead of a third-party API. AirDraw and LazyScroll both use MediaPipe hand tracking — one to draw in the air, one as a Chrome extension.

I care most about the parts that have to be correct. In TransitOps, dispatching a trip updates the trip, the vehicle, and the driver in a single transaction, so the board can never show one vehicle as both available and on the road.

CyberParadigm

K-Hub's cybersecurity vertical — a product incubator building tools where real attacks happen.

I build the browser-based training labs behind LetUsHack, India's gamified offensive-security platform. The labs put you in a real exploit instead of a multiple-choice question.

  • Two levelled CSRF labs with an inline code viewer, so you read the vulnerable handler while you attack it.
  • A deliberately vulnerable bank simulator with staged hints, where a forged request moves real balances.
  • An XSS, CSRF, and Metasploit playground covering the exploitation path end to end.

Timeline

How I got here

  1. 2026

    Operational systems, back to back

CareLoop, TransitOps, ContextAI, CobbleGen, CustomTube, NTRO Sentinel, AirDraw, and LazyScroll — eight tools shipped inside a year, with OnTheWay still in progress. Each one something I wanted to exist.

  2. 2025

    Joined CyberParadigm

Started building the browser-based exploitation labs behind LetUsHack, and learned how much of security teaching is really interface design.

  3. 2024

First code that other people used

A Minecraft-to-Discord chat bridge picked up nine stars and a handful of strangers running it on their own servers.
